Butterfield Charter High School has a School Counselor who provides academic, career, college access/affordability/admission, and social-emotional competencies to all students through a series of activities and a comprehensive school counseling program. 
Students and parents are welcome to meet with the Counselor as a resource for education, career, and personal development. The Counselor can provide individualized services regarding completion of a high school diploma, post high school planning for college, vocational and technical training, the armed services, work and other options for every student. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to participate in activities such as:
  • Porterville College Senior Day
  • ASVAB Multiple-Aptitude Test
  • College Field Trips (Fall 2017 - Cal State Bakersfield, Spring 2018 - College of the Sequoias)
  • Dual Enrollment at Porterville College
  • Financial Aid Workshops
  • Internships
  • Student Intervention Plans
