MIDDLE CLASS SCHOLARSHIP OR DREAM ACT

Open to senior students with family incomes up to $150,000 and attending a University of California or California State University campus in the fall. Students must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or have AB 540 status; maintain a 2.0 GPA; meet certain income

and other financial aid standards.

ORAL ROBERTS UNIVERSITY WHOLE PERSON SCHOLARSHIP–Up to $20,000 a year

DEADLINE: March 24

Open to grade 12. Well-rounded students, who dream of furthering their education, where they will emerge as servant leaders who are spiritually alive, intellectually alert, physically disciplined, socially adept and professionally competent. PORTERVILLE GARDEN CLUB SCHOLARSHIP - $500

Intending to pursue a career in Ornamental Horticulture, Botany, Forestry, Landscaping Design, Agronomy, Floral Design, Entomology, Urban Planning or other Agriculture related fields. Students must be enrolled for at least 12 units per session once in college.

Graduating high school senior. 2.5 GPA or higher, plan to pursue a transportation related field such as Architecture, Environmental Science, Animal or Plant Biology, Business Administration.

Female student preferred. High School Senior attending public school in Tulare County or Kings County. GPA of 2.5 or higher. Migrant or seasonal farm working family background. Involvement in community service. Pursue a degree in health or community health.

CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF SUPERVISORS OF CHILD WELFARE AND ATTENDANCE (CASCWA) - $1,000- $3,000
DEADLINE: March 31
No minimum GPA. Students who have overcome lack of success, struggle to maintain academic progress, and is now putting things back together and show future promise.
