SOCIAL EMOTIONAL LEARNING:

Meeting the Needs of the Whole Learner

Today’s students often find it challenging to communicate their problems or handle social and emotional issues which can occur daily or even hourly.

BASE Education, a revolutionary online Social Emotional Learning (SEL) program, supports counselors and administrators in understanding their students’ challenges to determine the best way to help them. The system alerts those who can help quickly, which can be a life saver in some cases. And, through a strengths-based instructional design, students learn empowering strategies to move forward with success.

If your emotional abilities aren't in hand, if you don't have self-awareness, if you are not able to manage your distressing emotions, if you can't have empathy and have effective relationships, then no matter how smart you are, you are not going to get very far.
